MYSIA. Cyzicus. Antinoüs, died 130. Diassarion (Bronze, 24 mm, 10.57 g, 6 h), Kl. Euneos, archon, circa 130-138. ΑΝΤΙΝΟΟϹ ΗΡⲰϹ Bare head of Antinoüs to left. Rev. ΑΡΧ ΚΛ ΕΥΝΕΩ / ΚΥΖΙ Antinoüs, as the heros Kyzikos (?), standing facing, head to right, raising his right hand in salute and holding bridle of horse standing to right. Blum p. 48, 2 and pl. III, 15. BMC 214. RPC III 1528. SNG Paris 653. Very rare and unusually attractive. Slightly rough and with very minor deposits and light cleaning scratches, otherwise, nearly very fine.
